We are experimenting with being able to control an entire meeting room with voice alone. In order to create a room in which, for example, it is possible to lower the AC temperature simply by saying "hot", or close the blinds by saying "bright", we are using Arduino, open source hardware and doing everything from hardware fabrication to control program development.
